Pre-Spring 2026

The Joys of Spring

The air is warm, the sky is light, birds are singing and there is a renewed sense of energy.

There is a lightness of touch. Soft pastels, light fabrics, jacquard spots and woven stripes; an artist’s wardrobe. For his sophomore collection, Daniel Fletcher asks us to think of a young David Hockney painting in a greenhouse filled with summer blooms. There is a romanticism created through pleated silks and classic British staples rendered in luxury fabrics.

The collection embraces the joys that come with the arrival of spring. The pastimes we longed for over the winter months are returned to us. Outdoor pursuits. Rowing along the River Thames, lying on Hampstead Heath with a copy of “Brideshead Revisited” and the ability to wear a lighter wardrobe.

As the days begin to get longer, so too do the nights. In contrast to the morning pastels and preppy afternoon stripes, the evening Mithridate wardrobe has a darker, more hedonistic feeling. Inspired by icons of British music including Mick Jagger and Jarvis Cocker and their unrestricted sense of dress, find contrasting fabrics, aged leather, fine checks, and embellished satin headlining the collection.
